Call for Papers

Authors are invited to submit papers in any area of Artificial Intelligence including but not limited to:

Knowledge Representation

Reasoning and Search

Planning and Scheduling

Speech and Language Processing

Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery

Neural Networks

Logic Programming

Computer Vision and Robotics

Human Computer Interaction

Multi-agent systems

Applications of Intelligent Systems

Papers should have a cover page containing the title, names and full addresses (including e-mail addresses and fax numbers) of all authors, keywords, and a 100-200 word abstract, both in English and Greek. Papers should be written in English, in 12pt Times Roman font, single column and single spacing and must not exceed 10 pages, excluding the cover page. Submissions have to be electronic, in PostScript or PDF format, and papers should be sent by e-mail to the conference address account (setn02@csd.auth.gr). Authors have to separately submit the first page until the 15th of October and the whole paper (including the first page) until the 30th of October. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be mailed to the first or designated author on or before December 21, 2001. Accepted papers must be presented at the conference, in Greek, by one of the authors.

Student Session

Graduate students who want to participate at the student session should submit electronically to the conference e-mail account (setn02@csd.auth.gr) an extended abstract describing their work in progress, no later than November 30. Student abstracts must be in PDF or PostScript format, in the english language and with an upper limit of 3 pages. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be e-mailed to the student on or before December 21. Note that student abstracts will not be included in the conference proceedings.

Language

Greek will be the official language of the conference. However, papers have to be written in English, aiming at a greater dissemination.

Registration

At least one author of each paper has to perform an early registration in the conference. Details on the registration procedure and deadlines will be announced in due time.
