2nd Hellenic Conference

Aims and ScopeIn recent times the fruits of research in
the area of Artificial Intelligence have found their way into various real-life
applications, increasing thus the interest and activity in the field. The advent
and rapid growth of the Internet and the World Wide Web have intensified this
effect, through the increasing demand for intelligent information systems. The
contribution of Greek researchers to this process has been substantial, both in
Greece and abroad. As a result, it seems to be the appropriate time for an event
that will bring these researchers together in a common forum to exchange ideas
and strengthen their collaborations. For this reason, the Hellenic Artificial
Intelligence Society (EETN), in cooperation with
the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is
organising the 2nd Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence
(SETN-2002) in Thessaloniki, April 11-12, 2002. The
