Aims and Scope

In recent times the fruits of research in the area of Artificial Intelligence have found their way into various real-life applications, increasing thus the interest and activity in the field. The advent and rapid growth of the Internet and the World Wide Web have intensified this effect, through the increasing demand for intelligent information systems. The contribution of Greek researchers to this process has been substantial, both in Greece and abroad. As a result, it seems to be the appropriate time for an event that will bring these researchers together in a common forum to exchange ideas and strengthen their collaborations. For this reason, the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society (EETN), in cooperation with the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is organising the 2nd Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SETN-2002) in Thessaloniki, April 11-12, 2002.

The conference program will consist of:

Plenary and poster sessions, where research and application papers will be presented.

A student session, where graduate students will be able to present their work in progress and receive feedback.

Demonstrations of commercial products and research prototypes.
